Faith Based Dieting

Who still hopes to lose those last 5 or 10 pounds? Instead they seem to turn into 8 or 12 lbs. Why does this keep happening? Doesn't seem to matter how hard you try. You do everything right including diet and exercise. Something is missing. Each night you promise to get back on track only to find yourself in the same place the following evening. How to break out of the rut?

One must find that "thing" that sustains us. It might be a pledge to someone that has passed away or someone that you see everyday. My new suggestion is to pledge not to do better but to do specific things. The only one that truly guides me each day is my God. Higher power, Almighty, wherever you go to ask forgiveness or seek strength and understanding is where I suggest you turn to to devote energy to a goal that is absolutely attainable and not something that can be put off until later.
